Shay is a bubbly and passionate Placenta Encapsulation Specialist along with being a birth and postpartum doula based out of central Iowa. She is deeply motivated by her love for supporting families through birth and postpartum. Shay was inspired by the incredible role of the placenta, and its natural way to aid hormonal balance, energy, and emotional well-being. Her goal is to ensure each mama feels loved and well cared for during this transformative journey. When not encapsulating, you can find Shay thrifting for treasures, golfing and fishing with her fiancé, or enjoying quality time with family. In the summer, Shay loves nothing more than relaxing in her hammock with a good book in hand.

Owner, Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, Trainer
As the owner of Sweet Pea Placentas, Britney offers a variety of services that help empower families to emplace their new normal with a focus on health, healing, and the bond between parents and their newborns. Owning Sweet Pea Placentas allows her to share the benefits of placenta encapsulation and ensure that every family feels nurtured and cared for during such an important time of their lives. Britney resides in Polk City, Iowa with her husband and one year old living on their small cow calf ranch. On Britney's days off, you can find her hanging out at her farm with her horses!
Bailey Focht
Co-Founder, Training Support
Bailey is an entrepreneur with a passion for all things birth! As a fertility warrior and birth trauma survivor, she is driven to provide safe and empowered family planning, pregnancy, birth experience, and postpartum healing. The placenta is a powerhouse of healing postpartum, and she has seen first hand the benefits through the fourth trimester. Going through her own share of postpartum anxiety, she is passionate in providing families the tools and resources to naturally support themselves postpartum. Bailey is a farmer's wife, mom, and student midwife residing in southwest Iowa. She enjoys playing with her farm animals, spending time with family, and is heavily fueled by Diet Pepsi.
